Maggie's First Week!

This past week was packed full of fun for Maggie. She spent lots of time with all different family. Andy's sister Sarah came down to meet Maggie during the weekend. She brought Maggie some very fashionable clothes as usual. Then on Monday, Maggie's other Aunt Sarah came over and helped us get some stuff done around our place. She spent plenty of time loving on Mags of course! Tuesday Grandma Donna came over to play with Mags and help out as well. On Wednesday, Andy's Dad & Step-mom came down to visit with us all. They brought down a really nice play yard/bassinet, so that we can keep Maggie in our room for a while before she moves to her crib, even though she wouldn't mind sleeping in there. We got to visit with them for a few days, which was really nice since we don't get to visit with Andy's family much since they live up in Frankfort. Grandma Donna came back over again on Friday, which was a big day out for Maggie. She went to lunch with us and Uncle Ben and Auntie Erin. Of course she slept through the whole lunch, but that's the life of a newborn, livin' big! For dinner that night Grandma Donna and Grandpa Bill took us out to dinner down at the Tin Fish where Andy works. We had a delicious dinner and even got to see Daddy for a while! What a great first week!! Yesterday, Maggie and I went to Grandma & Grandpa's to celebrate Ben's and my birthdays. She just loved all the attention she got from everyone. She's been such a great little lady. Her first visit to the doc is this Friday, so we'll find out just how well she is growing then. Until then it's eating, sleeping, & pooping. It's tough being a baby!

Well, yesterday we brought little Maggie home from the hospital finally. We are all so happy and excited to have our little family home at last. Everything has been going really well, and we just can't seem to get enough of Magpie. She's the sweetest little girl in the whole world. She's getting so much attention from family and friends. She's doing so well with eating and sleeping and all that fun stuff. She just loves it here.
